The TRC 2009 U8's have retained the core of the U8j's that were again undefeated in 2008, where they picked up all the trophies on offer. The boys have started 2009 where they left off last year with limitless enthusiasm towards improving their skills, having fun with their friends and welcoming the many new players who have joined us this season.
We aim to make Sunday training fun and the boys are learning to run straight with the ball in two hands, retain possession and pass and shark for the ball. They practice handling and defensive skills which are incorporated into actual game time where they learn good technique at pace.
Our players come from a number of different schools in Singapore and the parents are regularly called upon by the coaches to pitch in with training.
